Based in
Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Program Source International is a
television production and marketing company founded over 14 years ago. Over the
years, Program
Source International has produced
a variety of programs including an ABC-TV Network Christmas show, "Welcome
in the Child", shown on 187 stations on Christmas Eve.
Currently in production for the Cranbrook Institute of Science in Bloomfield
Hills, is a program about the "Geology of Michigan". PSI shot HD
footage at twenty four locations around Michigan, the UP and in Canada.
Some of our underwater footage from Thunder Bay Island, near Alpena, was
shown in the recent History Channel series "How the Earth Was Made".
The company also produced 25 television documentaries on Michigan town histories and historic
events within the State. Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company commissioned
Program Source International to
produce a 100 year history of the company, "Above and Beyond" featuring
the great airships and company history.
The company owns and distributes special
interest programs, including "The Parent Talk" series, training programs for
early childhood centers and Head Start Organizations, plus the 13 episode
series "Where Jesus Walked", filmed in Israel.
Al Eicher
is the founder of Program Source International and has been in the
television production and distribution business for over 40 years with executive positions at Campbell-Ewald
Advertising Agency, 20th Century Fox, Magnetic Video Corporation and Embassy
Home Entertainment. He's also produced feature motion pictures, owned a
radio station, and spent 5 years as an Engineer and Technical Director at Channel 5, an NBC
television affiliate.
His son, David Eicher, is President of
Program Source International. He has 20 years of experience in marketing, television production,
editing, videography, scripting and research. After
graduation from Central Michigan University, he worked 10 years in
pre-recorded videotape distribution, marketing and sales. |
